Amzon not covering lost packages anymore?
The carrier lost the package. I bought shipping through Amazon. Amazon refunded the customer from my money and counted the case against me. I appealed and received this answer. Please I need an administrator to tell me if Amazon stopped covering the shipping bought through Seller Central.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with more information regarding your claim on order 111-5019887-6360228. Upon further review, we have decided to uphold our original decision.
Why was my appeal denied?
We have reviewed all available information and have determined that your carrier appears to have lost the package. The tracking information you provided shows no update since November 19, 2024. You may be able to recover the value of any lost items by filing a claim with the carrier.

This is coming up in the forum with increasing frequency.
Have you allowed automation in handling time and templates? I believe this is now a fine print requirement for Amazon to honor their promise.
However, some of the sellers who have opened similar threads did have that automation allowed. And Amazon still reneged on their promise.
That which they promise, they should deliver.

Hello @Seller_9rVOcx8OYcndk- and thanks for posting about this. You can review our policy on protections offered by "Claims Protected" Buy Shipping Labels, along with our A-to-z Claim policy which does include the following regarding undelivered orders:
"Amazon will automatically grant the claim and debit the claim amount from your account in the following circumstances:
- ...
- You did not deliver the order by the maximum estimated delivery date."
That said, I did make sure to escalate this to the owning team to request some further review and assistance. While it may take a couple days, I'll be sure to follow up with you here on the thread when I receive any updates.
Best,
Danny
