Receiving self ship orders with either no mobile number or incomplete mobile number. What to do?

We sell only through self ship orders. Normally all orders we receive have a valid mobile number which is used to schedule orders with 3rd party logistics company. For past few days we are receiving some self ship orders with either no mobile orders or incomplete mobile number. We even sent customers message on amazon messaging, but no one reply's. Even amazon seller support gives vague and useless template answer.

What to do with these orders? This will un-necessarily impact our metrics.

Can other self ship sellers share their experience / what they do with such orders?

We also faced this problem but we did not got any answer from buyer as well as from seller support one of those order got RTO due to insufficient contact details in many cases buyer gives negative feedback also don't know is this glitch or purposly it has been done.

Try to get number through buyer seller messaging, and wait for maximum time. In case it doesn't get any reply

Then ship through registered post, minimum expense and they many times get it delivered without phone number, pvt couriers cant do that

Even if it is RTO, there is no charge on us, and can issue refund on receiving

Book Ola scooter or rapido bike , if order value is high , send rider to address and ask the rider to get you on phone with the buyer , if buyer is genuine and share details ,ship order or if you find fishy simply cancel and do not process order , only high value item can do this .

Having incorrect mobile no. in selfship orders is a major issue, which amazon dont pay attention. Practically it is immpossible for the seller to deliver such orders.

May be AMAZON have done it intentionally to get their fee's charged and leave seller on their luck..

Amazon must pay some attention to sellers also.. it incur heavy losses
