Repeated Return Fraud by Same Buyer – Torn Cloths Sent Instead of Bedsheets! Now My SCRR Has Increased Unfairly!
Hello Amazon Team & Fellow Sellers,
I’m a new seller on Amazon dealing in bedsheets and home furnishing items. I’m here to raise a serious concern that needs urgent attention from Amazon.
⚠️ Summary of What Happened:
A customer placed an order for a bedsheet on 19 July 2025 and later requested a replacement, which I fulfilled (though it was sent in a different color by mistake). The buyer then returned both the original and replacement orders.
What did I receive?
➡️ Two separate parcels, each containing old, torn cloths — not the product I shipped.
This is a case of deliberate, repeated return fraud. Buyer kept both original and replacement bedsheet, returned unrelated, valueless items and misused the replacement process.
And now, my SCRR (Seller Controllable Return Rate) has increased for this listing — even though I’m the one who’s being scammed!
This affects my account health, visibility, and performance metrics — all because a fraudulent buyer is misusing Amazon’s systems.
🚨 My Requests to Amazon:
1) Immediately investigate and block this buyer for policy abuse.
2) Remove this incident from my SCRR, as this is not seller-controllable but a case of blatant buyer fraud.
3) Provide better protections for sellers against return abuse.
We sellers work hard to maintain quality and service. But if fraudulent returns are allowed and even punish the seller, it’s discouraging and unfair. I urge the Amazon team to take action and protect sellers like us who are being exploited.
@SellerSupportTeam – Please escalate and resolve this immediately.
Thank you!
