Draft listings "complete your drafts"

When you save your drafts during product entry, they go to a location that cannot be accessed by main menu - specifically by the "Complete Your Drafts" menu entry!! this has been frustrating people for a long time. I finally found my drafts by going to "Add Products" and choosing "Complete your listings" hyperlink at the bottom of the page!! So there are two locations which should be one, by my way of thinking:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/fixyourproducts/drafts

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/draft/dashboard/savedbyyou

But even more bizarre is that the incomplete listings that appear in "savedbyyou" on my desktop differ from the ones that appear when I go to the same place with my laptop... jeez something seems broken...

Hello @Seller_HBjI4i3y5rjQz,

Michelle at Amazon here. I am sorry for the frustration this is causing you. Do you have a case with Seller Support that I can take a look at? If not, please create a case and provide them with the same information so they can take a look.

Problem 1: (software bug?)

during "add product" I "save a draft". This draft is NOT listed in "Catalog/complete your drafts" as would be expected. https://sellercentral.amazon.com/fixyourproducts/drafts .

However the draft can be found in "Catalog/add products/complete your listing" https://sellercentral.amazon.com/draft/dashboard/savedbyyou

Problem 2: (Software bug?)

going to https://sellercentral.amazon.com/draft/dashboard/savedbyyou shows different incomplete items depending on whether I am using my laptop or using my desktop.

Here's the support response.... does not adequately address the confusion this design creates!!

I can confirm for you that the "Save a Draft" feature is not intended to save drafts to the Fix Your Products page. What you are describing is as designed and is not a technical issue; Save a Draft is intended to allow you to stop and start a listing you are in the process of creating without losing your progress, and will therefore save to the Complete Your Listing/Saved By You page.

The drafts mentioned by the Fix Your Products page, in contrast, are automatically created drafts that are generated when your listing creation attempt generates an error and fails to be created. This same page will also display issues with your existing listings, such as listings that are search suppressed or out of stock. It is not possible to manually save a draft to this page because that is not the intended purpose of this page.

With regards to Saved By You showing different items, due to the nature of this page, this feature is not able to save drafts across multiple devices. Please use the same device you created the draft on to continue a draft in progress.
