Can we change the business address after the deactivation?
Hello Everyone.
Do you guys now can we change the business address after the deactivation? My account is suspended for product authenticity verification and the team asks an invoice from me.
The product is authentic but the billing address does not match with the address on my Seller Central. The products are billed to my wife's company so the billing address is different. My question is: Are we allowed to change the address on the seller central now? I mean, if we update our business address on seller central to my wife's company, does it work? Or would Amazon still look for for an address when we got deactivated?
I'm asking this because some people say you can update the address to match with your invoice, some others say Amazon always look for the address on the system when you got suspended.
I already provided my notarized partnership agreement with my wife but it did not work.
Thank you!

Wouldn't try it, your wife's account could be deactivated. And, whenever you change an address, it has to be verified and with what you said, it wouldn't match any of your documents.

Hello @Seller_jv6pI7pYnSYqg,
Thank you for posting your concerns with your account deactivation.
As you mentioned your wifes account is already deactivated, updating your account information will do two things, the first as @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 mentioned which would be the required identity verification which would cause the account to again be deactivated and add additional document requirements for re-verification. Additionally, once you and your wife share a connection between the accounts yours will be deactivated again in association to our multiple accounts policy as you would be associated to a deactivated account.

At this point, I would be more concerned with the invoice showing your wifes account as the purchaser since you mentioned it was billed to her company. Why are you receiving products purchased by her? Even if the address was updated, there will be serious concerns with the invoices and multiple policies that will each need to be addressed. Can you advise why your wifes store was deactivated?
If you cannot provide invoices that meet our requirements and show you as the purchaser and recipient of the products, they will not be accepted and the account may not be eligible for reactivation.
