Request to Introduce Barcoded Packaging to Prevent RTO Frauds

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue we are facing with our RTO (Return to Origin) shipments via Amazon Easyship. We have noticed that some of our RTO orders are being returned in an open state, sealed with tape, which should not happen. RTO orders should be returned in the exact condition in which they were shipped, without being tampered with or opened.

This practice has raised concerns about potential product theft or tampering, as we have encountered instances of missing products or opened packaging in our RTO deliveries.

To address this, we would like to suggest a solution that has proven effective on other platforms like Meesho—using barcoded packaging bags. Barcoded packaging ensures transparency and helps reduce the chances of fraud, as any tampering or unauthorized opening can be easily tracked.

We believe that adopting this method could significantly reduce RTO fraud and protect both sellers and customers from such issues.

We kindly request you consider introducing barcoded packaging as a mandatory requirement for Amazon Easyship deliveries to help curb these fraudulent activities.

Not in RTO only it's also happens in normal delivery too. even on curior bag frauds happens.

The only solution to prevent this is move inventory to FBA. that's why amazon not taking any serious action for this SCAM. amazon uses this BARCODE packaging on FBA orders but not introduced for SMALL NORMAL SELLER.
