Buyer requests to cancel their order but it is almost made
Hello,
A buyer requested to cancel their order, and we were in the process of its creation. We sell jewelry, and we had made their ring, set the stone, and a few minor steps were left for it to be complete.
Please also note that the order was custom too, with the customer's message engraved on the inside of the ring.
What do I do in this situation? Can I proceed with its shipment without any issues or am I required to cancel the order?
Thanks!

If a buyer requesting an order cancellation before the item has shipped, sellers are responsible to accepting this requests according to Amazon order cancellation policy.

Hi @Danelian_Jewelry,
Thanks for the post. You can decide the terms under which customers can return products or cancel items that are customized or made-to-order.
For the first 30-minutes after an order has been placed, customers can cancel their own order using the Cancel items button. After 30-minutes, the customer is unable to cancel the order directly and must submit a cancellation request directly to the seller for review.
If a buyer asks you to cancel an order and you have not yet shipped and confirmed the shipment, you can cancel it in Manage Orders or use an Order Cancellation feed.
Including a quick read on Policies for Amazon Handmade returns, refunds, restocking fees, and cancellations.
Best Regards,
