Unethical Weight Handling Charges on Seller Flex Shipments

Hi All,

I created this topic to bring your attention to unethical weight handling fees levied by Amazon on multi-quantity orders. In which when customer orders more than 1 qty, Amazon charges from us the weight handling fees per unit which should be charged exactly as per shipping weight or dimensions (whichever is higher). All portals like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm etc do the same as per shipping weight except Amazon.

Amazon pays the weight handling fees to the courier service as per dimensions or weight but charges from us as per each unit which increases our operational cost as well as we don’t get any benefit of bulk order.

Then just restrict every affected listing to 1 unit in the ‘max order’ quantity. Additionally, remove all ‘B2B’ discounts or pricing so there’s no bulk orders.

Let us know if you need more help.

Please answer my question that will be helpful.
We have recently opened amazon flex account and its start selling.
Our product weight is below 500 grams, But they always charge higher handling fees.
Like this Local INR 28+16, Regional INR 36+21, National INR 56+25.
I don’t know why they do this, They simply say we add extra Up to 100 grams for each quantity…
