Let Remote Fulfillment help your business expand to customers in Canada and Mexico
Want to expand your sales beyond the United States, but worry about complicated setups, taxes and customs, and the hassle of international shipping? That’s where Amazon’s Remote Fulfillment program comes in.
Remote Fulfillment helps sellers offer US-based FBA inventory to customers in Canada and Mexico, with policies, pricing, and tools that simplify the process. You’ll get the benefits from offering your products to additional customers without needing to make major changes to your business.
Misconceptions About Remote Fulfillment
International taxes and customs need to be managed separately. With Remote Fulfillment, your tax practices are the same, and you won’t need to file taxes in Canada or Mexico. Even better, our pricing tool already calculates import duties and taxes on items bought through Remote Fulfillment, which are paid by the customers.
Remote Fulfillment involves special fees. Just like US FBA sales, products sold internationally through the program have two types of fees: the remote fulfillment fee determined by product size and weight (instead of the US FBA fee), and the category referral fee for the marketplace where the sell occurred (instead of the US referral fee). Remote sales have different fees than US FBA sales to account for the costs of cross-border fulfillment. You can check the fees on our Remote Fulfillment with FBA fees help page.
However, when using Build International Listings (BIL), our automatic pricing tool adjusts your US FBA prices to Mexico, Canada and/or Brazil, adding those extra costs, to provide you with the same profit you would get for an order in the US. Visit the Remote Fulfillment with FBA Calculator to check the estimated real-time net profit comparisons between different fulfillment methods (Local FBA, Merchant Fulfilled and Remote Fulfillment with FBA).
International pricing is complicated. Remote Fulfillment makes this EASY. Build International Listings is a tool that makes it simple to price your items for international buyers. You can set and edit pricing rules to maximize profits and satisfy your business needs. Set your international prices to be the same as your US offers, a percentage difference, or a fixed amount above or below US prices. And of course, you can manually set individual prices as well.

The program has worked well for me and I used it to replace sending inventory directly to FBA Canada for awhile.
I am also happy to see you are still referring to it as NARF!
Pinky: What are we going to do tonight Jeff?
Jeff Bezos: The same thing we do every night Pinky. Leverage 3rd party sellers to take over the world!

We've enjoyed the NARF program but see this error for many of our listings:

Our manufacture barcode is only associated with one sku/asin. Amazon wouldn't allow it to be associated with more than one!
The only thing I think of is that it is related to us selling used and like-new products through Amazon's FBA returns program which automatically creates listings for you.
Is there any workaround for this? All of our best selling skus are not available through this program because of this error.

Will there be any program to help small sellers who fulfill their own orders? Could we ship international orders to a US Amazon destination where Amazon then reships the package(s) to the international destination and bills the buyer for the international shipping charges, relieving the seller of having to deal with all the international BS? That's the way eBay does it and it works perfectly. It's so simplefor us that we refer all our international customers to eBay because of it. I would love to do the same with Amazon. That would make it super easy for us to add foreign markets. Right now, I won't add the foreign country markets that are available in Amazon because I just don't want to deal with the shipping headache. I'd love to try it, though. It needs to be simpler.

is there a phone number where we can actually talk with you about this?

I would really like to talk to someone who can help me with more information so I can grow my business.

Unfortunately, NARF doesn't work for grocery items. So it doesn't benefit me.
