'Please wait at least one minute before requesting another OTP.'

I am unable to log in.

Every time I try, I’m told ‘Please wait at least one minute before requesting another OTP’.

No attempt is made to send an OTP’. Requesting a replacement OTP (by text or phone) over any timescale presents the same result; an attempt isn’t even made to send me an OTP and there is no box for me to potentially enter one in to if it did.

This is the same for my Primary & Secondary User Accounts

I had the same issue. Support didn't help. You can reset the login and temporarily disable two factor login.

After that you change the login settings to use an authenticator app instead. That works.

Tried after a while to go back to getting a OTP by text and was shut out immediately so I'm back on the app.

Does anyone know if it is possible to permanently disable two factor login as opposed to temporarily? I am completely fed up with having trouble logging in, almost on a daily basis and I am losing money because of it, let alone my sanity. Thanks

Having the same problem and have been for weeks. The only thing I can do now is to give it a 24 hour break, then log in on only one device. I then leave it open all day. That seems to work.

Amazon don't really care when you speak to customer services, but would you expect them to?

Next stop is to use an authenticator app.

I had the the same problem. you need to do account recovery:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202073840&referral=A2J3I8OZF2UHWO_A3F2VO2QVRLAA8

You need to upload some ID and then you will be active in 1-2 days. Mine took 24 hrs
