Unprofessional Handling of GST Registration by CA Ankit Jain’s Team (CAAJIB)

I usually don’t post rants, but this situation is just too ridiculous not to share. We hired {Moderator Edit: Personal Information} in Tamil Nadu for GST registration, thinking it would be straightforward. We paid ₹8,260/-, and then they had the nerve to ask for another ₹5,000/- for an Authorized Representative, even though we had our own people in the registering city. We didn’t pay that extra because it wasn’t necessary, and I guess that’s where things started going downhill.

Fast forward two months, and we get a Suo-moto notice for GST cancellation! The GST officer called, saying our Place of Business doesn’t exist, and even the GST welcome kit wasn’t delivered. We sent someone to the location mentioned in the rent agreement, only to realize that the CA team had registered our PPOB with the landlord’s address instead of the actual business address! Because of this blunder, all our official communications were sent to the wrong place, and the physical verification was done at an entirely different address.

And guess what? It doesn’t end there. For 11 days straight, we followed up with them, and they kept telling us they would file the reply on the last date. They even suggested we’d send someone if needed. But no one showed up at the GST office during the hearing, and our GST got canceled!

To top it all off, their emails started bouncing, and they kept passing me around from one person to another, just like a government office with no accountability. We finally hired a new CA in Chennai, who found out that the address these guys gave us in the rent agreement has over 300 companies registered, all of which are going to be canceled.

Now, thanks to this mess, the GST Department wants us to have a proper physical office, which will take months and cost a fortune. Meanwhile, we’ve sent a ton of stuff to Amazon FCs, and all our goods and input tax credits are blocked.

This whole experience has been a nightmare, and it’s all because of the incompetence of {Moderator Edit: Personal Data}. If you’re thinking of using their services, RUN in the opposite direction!
