We are the manufacturer of our products. Some of the products we produced as ODM are currently being sold on Amazon by the company that purchased them from us, under their own brand.
If we sell the exact same product — but with our own engraved logo, brand name, and packaging — will we still be able to create our own brand and generate a new ASIN, even though a similar product and brand already exist on Amazon?

Yes, of course you can do that. Just know that selling on Amazon is difficult, complicated, costly and tricky. And I don't think that your actual customer and reseller on Amazon will continue purchasing from you..... If it's just for some cents of better profit: let it be and let your customer do this work.
But yes, of course, it's your free decision. Read the forum daily for 1-2 hours and decide after if it's worth it.

Thanks for reaching out. As @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC stated, you can create your own ASIN for your product, however, ensure that your brand is on the product and packaging as you may need approval to create your ASIN with your brand on it.
