Amazon Seller Account got deactivated due to another deactivated account.

I'm running an online t-shirt design business called Stand-Out Apparel Designs, and I've recently opened it in June 2024. I've been facing a challenge with my Amazon seller account for the past month. My account got deactivated because it was linked to another deactivated account called Right Choice Home Solutions. I've tried everything to appeal this, including providing a notarized statement by a public official, my personal and business bank statements, and a letter explaining that I have no affiliation with the other account made in July 2022. I've also updated my login and account information to reflect my business details.

Additionally, I've emphasized in my appeal letter and when communicating with Amazon support that third-party services like Wix, Printify, and Printful are not connected to my account. I did not share my personal and professional information with anyone. I even wrote that in my credit reports I had yet to use my social security or credits to create that other account. Despite all this, my account remains deactivated. I'm trying to understand what could be causing this link between my account and others and what I might be missing.

From what you have shared with us, I see that your account has been deactivated for a violation of the multiple accounts policy and you have questions about what your appeal options will look like to get this resolved.

This type of deactivation can occur when 2 accounts have personal or business information shared between them and one of the accounts becomes deactivated. You do not have to own the other account for a link to be established.

I would like to ask you some questions to help identify how the link could have occurred...

-Do you have accounts in any other marketplace or is it possible you created an account in the past and never used it?

-Have you helped anyone with their selling account in any way or vice versa? If so, how?

-Have you asked your employees, ex-employees, friends and family if they have an account with that name?

-Do these 3rd party providers have access to your account or business information in anyway? If so, which information do they have access to?

To address this type of deactivation you must prove with supporting documents that the accounts are not related. If the documentation does not sufficiently prove against the relation they will be rejected. If the above mentioned option is not possible, it will be required for the related account to be reactivated for your account to be eligible for reactivation.

Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please respond here for further guidance. The Forums community and I are here to support you.

Wishing you the best,

Hello Stand_Out_Apparel_De,

If you're certain your account was deactivated in error with no relation to another account:

Appeal through the Account Health Dashboard and submit any evidence demonstrating your account is not related to another account.

On your appeal, I can suggest you to include:

  1. Personal verification like government-issued ID (driver's license, passport)
  2. Business license or registration documents
  3. Utility bills
  4. Bank statements showing transactions and account activity solely for your business
  5. Invoices, receipts, or accounting records
  6. A signed written statement attesting that you have never accessed, controlled, or had any relationship with any other seller account
  7. Letters from your accountant, lawyer, or other trusted advisors affirming your sole ownership and control of the account
  8. Contracts, agreements, or other paperwork showing you have no legal or financial ties to any other seller

The key here is to provide strong evidence that demonstrates that your account is completely independent and not related to any other. Thorough documentation will be critical to proving your case. The team will review your appeal and notify you of the decision.

Note that this is only some ideas of what you could submit to strengthen your case but it DOES NOT guarantee an account reinstatement.
