Urgent Help Needed: Amazon Seller Account Locked

Hey everyone,

I'm facing a serious issue with my Amazon seller account and I'm hoping someone here might have some advice or insights.

So, here's the situation: I opened a seller account on Amazon, and things were going smoothly until recently. Amazon suddenly requested some documents for verification purposes, which I promptly submitted. These documents were signed and notarized by a certified notary, and my account was reinstated.

However, just two days later, my account got locked again, with no explanation provided. I've since submitted translated and notarized documents including my gas bill, ID card, and driver's license, all of which prove my residency at the provided address.

Despite all my efforts, I haven't received any response or resolution from Amazon, and my account remains inactive. This is really frustrating, especially because I have active product listings and many more products waiting to be added.

I'm feeling pretty lost here, so if anyone has any suggestions or has dealt with a similar situation before, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Steve from Amazon here, I know that this situation can be frustrating. I have reviewed your account and see that the address verification document was rejected. Please submit a utility bill dated for piped gas, natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service with your name on it. These documents will be rejected if any other name is on it.

Please see below for additional requirements these documents must meet.

  • It must contain the following information: your name and address, the service provider's name and additional information such as date of issue and due date, service provider's address, service provider's logo, and usage details if applicable.
  • Your name and address must be visible and match the name and address that you entered in Seller Central.
  • It must have been issued in the last 90 days.
  • It must be a full page and unobstructed including corners.
  • It must have a high definition and be clear and readable. The required information must be visible and in focus.
  • It must be authentic and unaltered.
  • It must not be protected with a password. You can re-upload the same document without the password protection or upload a photo of the document. For security reasons, do not reply to this email with the password.
  • It must not be a screenshot.
  • It must be in one of the supported languages. Supported languages include Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. If the documents are not in one of the supported languages, you must submit a notarized translation into one of the supported languages along with the original document.
  • It must be a PDF, JPG, PNG, or GIF file.

Please submit a document that meets these requirements and let follow up with me here if you are still running into issues.
