Tanto Folded knife that identifies as a stiletto, not by choice

Trying to list another EDC pocket folding knife with a Tanto blade. Like all my new listings, gets taken down right away for review except this time, to my surprise, they (the decision makers) decided this was a stiletto.

Appealed but, “after careful review” still identified as a stiletto. Problem is, it’s not even remotely close to being a dagger pointed stiletto knife. Not by definition (which I provided with graphics) and not by industry standards. Also, not by Amazon standards considering thousands of Tanto blades already in existence including my others.

This would put thousands of tanto blade knive listings at risk of being taken down on Amazon.

How do you get someone to look at this that knows what the different folding knife classifications are that affect our Amazon business?

Long Story Short, ......

Keep appealing and

  1. Type it in a way that a 3rd grader could understand.
  2. Cite the policy directly and articulate WHY it is not a violation

This is a court of law so the listings aren't "innocent until proven guilty" ...

I have all but decided to abandon Amazon because of all the restricted product false flagging I get. It isn't worth my time...... if you want a good laugh.. have a read at my latest 'battle' here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/cf5c0c6b-e113-47d5-b357-a0f5391f8605?

It shouldn't be this hard to get crap fixed

Update

After 3 appeals, my Tanto listing have been reinstated. But now my retaliatory punishment for pushing back on that listing is that same team going through my listings and tagging them as spring assisted knives…(even though we do not sell assisted knives) thus putting a geographical restriction on my listings.

Sure, could just be a coincidence that these listings that are 3, 4, 5 and 6 years old are all of a sudden getting tagged as spring assisted, a different set every hour so far this morning.

Crazy and exhausting
