This product has been identified as prescription Minoxidil and/or an unapproved drug containing the active pharmaceutical ingredient Minoxidil.
Identified HOW???
This Minoxidil BOT needs to be taken down and reconfigured.
Everyday I waste time fighting these claims for items that DO NOT contain any Monoxidil.
Then I gather the images & ingredients and the manufacturers links
I get an item reactivated just to have another appear the next day.
And the next day
And the next day
And the next day
Grinding productivity to a halt as I waste more time for us and Seller Support.
How many items need to cleared of this claim before someone at Amazon notices the BOT is flawed?

Hey @Seller_AXC06kcsKI1qG, thanks for the tag and I certainly understand the frustration. I want to look into this with my colleagues to see where I can help, do you mind sharing a case ID/ASIN or any other info we can use to look into the issue?

Hi @SUNDANCE_
Based off your post, you are describing restricted products violations. These violations are usually triggered by some kind of keyword within the listing. These keywords can make our system think that the listing is violating the restricted products policy. Ultimately, your goal is show that these listings do no violate said policy.
Some options for you are to edit the listing to remove the keyword. Another option you have to address the violations is to provide proof that Minoxidil is not an ingredient for this product. This can be done by providing photographs and an ingredient list in your plan of action.
The same concept would apply for your hand sanitizer issues. You will want to show how this listing does not violate the policy by taking similar, but listing specific action for this product.

We have exactly the same problem. Currently, we are dealing with four products with a Restricted Products Policy Violation, and three of them apparently contain Minoxidil. We have tried to upload pictures of the product, ingredient lists, and the manufacturer's website URL, but this did not resolve the issue. The Amazon team suggested editing the listing, but we are unable to do so as it was removed from the catalog. We are looking for some answers
