Two Shipments to the same Amazon warehouse. Both delivered the same day and time. One does not get received..

Since both were delivered the same day and time I assume they were delivered in the same semi-trailer.

One was received 7 days ago the other just shows delivered 7 days after the first has been received.

I called and am told you have to wait a month before we will even start an investigate.

I told Amazon they should:

Scan the inbound trailers against the manifest they get from UPS.

Scan all the box as they move through the warehouse. (this is for parcel deliveries not pallet quantities.

Have pictures available of all the problem boxes by trailer.

That way a rep could at least tell me something about what is going on: Instead of we start an investigation in a month.

I need to know will my inventory be found soon or should I ship more inventory.

Up till now my shipments have gone from delivered to receiving within a day of each other.

Any comments based on actual experience would be appreciated.

Plus I hope somebody from Amazon reads this and does something about it.

Hi @Seller_gsDMDsaY4IrgL,

Thanks for reaching out on the Seller Forums! I apologize for the confusion this has caused.

I know it's unfortunately not ideal to hear, but shipment timelines tend to vary from one another due to a variety of reasons, including high volume and further processing.

When is your reconciliation date for this particular shipment? Additionally, if you can please send me your shipment ID and case IDs for this, I'd be happy to take a further look into your shipment to see if I can find out any additional information.

Thanks again,

Jameson

This shipment did eventually get checked in.

August 26, 2024 7:54 AM Delivered

September 18, 2024 4:14 AM Checked in.

Another box.

August 26, 2024 7:54 AM Delivered

September 1, 2024 Checked in

That is a 17 day difference. One should be able to get more data so one can think with when things will get checked in. I now assume even though both boxes were delivered the same day and time there were not on the same trailer. Unless the box was lost.

Regardless Amazon should be able to provide more information so a seller can decide what to do. Fortunately for me and Amazon all the sales for this product were not lost when my FBA sku went out of stock because I also do FBM on this same book.

Assuming the two boxes were on different trailers Amazon should at least be processing trailers on a first in, first checked in basis.

Or perhaps the box got lost? You tracking and scanning should show this up right away especially if you are comparing the checked in boxes with the manifest from UPS.

Please tell me that Amazon will do something to provide more information to the sellers and prevent these will variables on how long it takes for a product to get checked in.
