I strongly agree to you, they dont help in anything else except advertising and promotion.
I give you latest problem i faced, one of my listing got inactive and was not opening from last 60 days, i contact the manager to help me but they dont have any solution, so i have to hire some other outside account manager and he solved that problem.
And there are many problems as such and amazon account manager dont help in those.

TOTALLY AGREE, the free account management service is provided to make sellers spend more on Ads and Deals where Amazon will earn more.
They are least interested in solving any operational issues and technical issues that is plaguing sellers due to poor policies and implementation of processes from Amazon.
The third party account management which can be availed for free against SPN credits for good performance is a much better option as they are not biased.

100% true brother. Amazon wants to steal all the money from sellers. They charge you for everything even on customer cancelled order refunds. LOL
