Target Invoice Denied
Hello!
I’m new into this amazon fba journey and currently having trouble with getting approval for the groceries category. I sent an invoice from target multiple times and wasn’t able to get approved. The target invoice clearly says “invoice” in the file and I showed proof of the 10 units as well. Do I have to keep applying or will it hurt my account if i do? Is the whole using the target invoice a lie from people saying to use it online?

Amazon does not accept Target invoices.
Next time maybe try Walmart......
Seriously now. No retail "invoice" is accepted by Amazon.
No matter if you got in in store or online.
Do not keep applying.
I do not know who told you to use a target invoice. But it is a lie.
You need a commercial wholesale invoice and permission from the given brand to sell on Amazon.

There are many RECEIPTS that will say "Invoice" at the top; especially when you purchase from an online RETAILER.
The key thing making it an invoice is that it is a WHOLESALE purchase. If you are not required to provide your business and/or tax license information (varies by state), or put another way, if anyone can make the purchase, it is NOT a wholesale purchase, but rather retail.
In the past, you could do RA (Retail Arbitrage) on Amazon with success; and in limited cases, it might still work. But it's far harder now than just 4-5 years ago, and getting harder all the time, as brands seek to control their sales channels.
Spend a couple of weeks reading the forums, and make sure to go through Seller U before you attempt to move forward. And yes, continuing to apply could possibly hurt your account. And as pointed out, if you're selling a branded item, make sure that the BRAND will authorize you to sell their products on Amazon; get it in writing if possible.
