An update about your Same-Day delivery options with Prime
Just had this email as a Prime customer. Disappointed I have not received notification as a seller!!!!
From 18 September 2023:
Your Prime Same-Day or Overnight (Tomorrow by 1 PM) orders over £20 will automatically be delivered to you using the fastest available option, at no extra cost. This means that where available, you will get eligible orders delivered for free on the same day or by 1PM the following day, depending on when you place your order.
Eligible Prime orders under £20 will continue to be shipped with free One-Day delivery. Where available, Same-Day delivery can be selected at checkout, but there will be a fee of £1.99 per delivery for orders under £20. The fee for customers who are not Prime members will remain £5.99.
Our products are all under £10. Our business model is built around same day delivery. This will clearly impact is as sellers using Small & Light seem to still be able to have a next day delivery option and pay less Amazon fees , thus are able to charge less.
First it was withholding payments for nearly 2 weeks..now this! And 1 month notice to run down stock and re-send in Small & Light is impossible

I think the key is that it says where available, you will get eligible orders delivered so that would indicate not all orders and would presume this to mean that it won't extent to 3rd party sellers - clearly no 3rd party seller could offer same day deliveries nationwide.
