Search Suppressed--changes not updating

I recently noticed that many of my listings say "Search Suppressed" instead of active. When I click through to see why, it says there are 5 of my products missing a description. I've re-added the description and clicked Update, though it never updates and the Search Suppressed tag remains. I've tried this 5-6 times, waiting well more than the advised 15 minutes for the products to update. How can I push these updates through?

Is it a generic product? Are you the brand owner or representitive?

If you are create a case and ask for the attribute to be changed to your updated value.

1 case per attribute. Make sure your values follow the policies.

This happens to me all the time.

Your contributions are not going through at the basic level of just going to edit inventory and clicking save when you are done.

Learning how to submit product feeds solved my problem when I was dealing with this issue. One time I had Seller Support update my description but I could never update it again after they uploaded it. I had to contact Seller Support each time I wanted a change and I prefer to change it whenever I need to.

Hey @Seller_pJIgsZGK15Fnn, the other sellers on the thread provided solid advice here (let me know what the case ID is if you do create a Seller Support case!), but I'll throw in another option to try. Have you already tried updating the descriptions via a flat file upload?
