Firstly, it seems like opening multiple "stores" under one account is allowable (although maybe that has changed since what I've read has been published).
Our current, single store just sells a product that we manufacture. However, we would like to create another store so that we can sell products that we do not manufacture but that we feel have market potential. Our primary store is Reflo. The second store would be called something like Reflo Deals (not actually what we'll call it but I don't want to broadcast ahead of creating it).
When I took a peek at the "manage store" page, it looks like I can register another brand, which I assume needs some sort of trademark, perhaps. I don't want to start that way and find out I'm just screwing things up that will be a pain to fix later.
The reason we want the second store is to not comingle other goods with our product.
Thanks for any help you might offer!

You can open another account IF the accounts sell entirely DIFFERENT product lines.
The key is the products can't even be remotely related to each other.
One account selling wrenches and the other account selling furniture is no problem.
One selling pipe wrenches and the other selling adjustable wrenches will get you kicked to the curb!
Because you mention 'brand' do NOT think that each brand will save you IF they sell in the same categories.
I do not understand what the actual problem is.
When I go to Target or Costco, or even the grocery store, there are thousands of different Brands being offered.
All of these "Stores" manage to keep their inventory separate, accessible and available to inventory.
Additionally, one cannot simply purchase someone else's products and then place them under their OWN "Brand". I cannot purchase Hasbro Action Figures and Re-Brand them as my own.
My advice would be to consider YOUR Amazon Selling Account as a "General Store" offering WHATEVER products you Manufacture yourself OR are qualified to purchase Wholesale from an Recognized Authorized Wholesale Distributor.
Good Luck!
