I have had only pending sales since around noon (8 units) and no sales since around 3:00est. This is very unusual. Anyone else having this problem?

It all depends on how you look at your situation, operate you business model, and how many items you sell.
Sellers offering only a few items will find long periods of no sales, where sellers offering 50,000+ items may have slower periods of sales but will generate enough revenue in sales to turn a meet expenses and turn a profit. It all depends on the items you select to sell and the quantity of different items offered.
