having an individual-type account and being a partner in a company-type one.

I've got this response from one of the mods here-

" You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing."

Examples of a legitimate business justification include:

You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each

You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies

You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts"

Do these multiple-seller caveats apply only if the account type is the same? For instance, my existing account is a personal-type account, and I'd like to open a company-type account. Would I face issues?

As I understand, my partner has also not completed the verification process when he applied for a personal account; if, in order to keep my current account separated from the soon-to-be-open company account, we decide to put him as the contact person, would that cause issues as well? Would you recommend completing the verification and deleting his personal account and only then doing this?

For the most part, Amazon pays no attention to a favored company using multiple accounts selling the same item.

until they do.

Then they give those privileged companies the advantage of a wink and a nod, or 2-3 or more "second chances", after which they simply allow them to flaunt policy to undercut or out-maneuver competition.
