Problems accepting barcodes

I am a new seller on Amazon. I do not have a brand. I tried to create an Amazon listing and put the barcode that I purchased from GS1. An error message appeared in the middle of the screen. Please help.

Your options:

1. Amazon seller university, every single video. 1-2 hours per week in the forum, reading.

2. Account permanently suspended.

Funds in account confiscated but fees charged for months after.

FBA products may be destroyed, at the very least you pay a ton of storage fees.

Besides that, heed it or not, your UPC needs to be registered to the brand you are listing. If the product is generic, you need an exemption, not a UPC. Amazon is NOT a learn as you go platform.

Hi there @Seller_GMGDkvK0HJQYK,

Amazon requires that products match exactly and the UPCs are Valid and tied to the appropriate Brand. Can you give me some more insights into what you were trying to list? If the product you are trying to list has a Brand then the UPC you bought won't be valid. Thank you for sharing your details and any relevant case IDs.
