I have a product listing with four variations. Strangely, two of these variations now display old images, even though I haven't made any changes, and the current images have been on the listing for almost a year. When I access the "manage image" section, the correct images appear in the upload tool. However, what is visible live on the listing are the outdated images. I have already reached out to Amazon about this issue and am awaiting a response. To add to the complication, one of the variations has been suppressed due to a "main image missing" error. Once again, I haven't made any changes to the image, and when I check the "manage image" section, the correct images are visible in the upload function. However, there is red writing at the bottom of the main image section stating that the "main image is missing." When I contacted seller support, I received a generic response stating that they update suppressed listing alerts every 24 to 48 hours and that alerts may take some time to disappear after saving updates.
This situation is causing significant distress for me as it could severely impact my sales. If anyone can offer assistance or insights into how to fix this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.

We have the exact same problem across 19 seperate listings! After several fruitless exchanges with seller support, we raised it with managingdirector@amazon.co.uk who are now looking into the issue for us.
I would suggest doing the same, as regular support don't seem to have a clue what's going on.

Similar problem here. I tried to update images in a listing. End result was that Amazon Image Editor defaulted to an image of an obsolete product we sold more than 15 years ago. Had to take that listing down (our biggest seller item) and am still in the process of getting it sorted out.

I was having exactly the same issue, I have checked the image against amazon's criteria and nothing has worked. 300 units stuck in FBA that I can't sell. I am at the point of just pulling the stock out of FBA and closing the listing. Seller support are being helpful as ever and saying there isn't a main image, when there is. The new one from them, is that I need to check the image meets the criteria, it did 2 weeks ago and now it doesn't. Seems odd that this issue has occurred at a similar time that the "edit" interface updated.
I am no longer getting the red error writing since the "edit" interface change, but the system will not recognise that there is a main image and I just get "no image available" on the listing.
