return shipping is bearable by customer

customers order the product ,then says dont like color or quality or available at cheap price and return the product .why only seller bear all the loss product us condition me kabhi nai ata jis condition me seller dispatch karta hai.due to the easy return policies sellers are bearing only loss .atleast reverse shipping fee is paid by customer.he recieved and observe the product by siiting at his home so if he don't like the product he is responsilble tp return back the product as his refund for product is already paid by amazon.

I would like to highlight an important concern about current return policies that disproportionately affect sellers. Many customers order the product, use the easy return policy, and return the item citing reasons such as not liking the color, quality, or finding a cheaper alternative elsewhere. While the product does not remain in the same condition as it was originally shipped, sellers are forced to bear the entire loss, including reverse shipping costs.

This places an unfair burden on sellers, as they bear all the costs while customers benefit from a completely risk-free experience. Since the customer has already received the product, inspected it in the comfort of their home, and decided to return it for personal reasons, they should be responsible for covering the reverse shipping fees. After all, their refund is already processed by Amazon.

A fair approach would be to ensure that return shipping fees are borne by the customer when the return is due to preference rather than a defect or problem in the product. This would encourage more responsible purchasing decisions while maintaining fairness for sellers who invest time and resources in delivering quality products.

I sincerely hope that Amazon will consider revising its return policy to create a more balanced system for both customers and sellers.

We face the same problem as well, Some of our products are volumetric in nature so sometimes when a customer requests for return due to personal reasons the returing charges just eat up the profit of next 5 orders.

The item again being fragile in nature is often recieved broken when returned by customer, Customer should be liable for these shipping charges if they decide to use and throw and abuse the policy
