Supplement Compliance Testing
I recently listed my first dietary supplement on Amazon and was expecting to be asked for third-party test results from an Amazon-approved lab, as I believe this is now required for all supplement listings.
Surprisingly, I was able to create the listing and generate a shipping plan without being asked for any compliance documents or COA (Certificate of Analysis).
I’m wondering when exactly does Amazon typically ask for the third-party COA, How long does it usually take before Amazon requests the compliance testing?
Is there a way to proactively request that Amazon review my listing and ask for the COA now, so I can get everything submitted and avoid last-minute listing removals?
I want to stay ahead of any compliance issues and avoid potential delays or account disruptions.
Any advice or experience with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They can and will ask whenever they want. There is no proactive anything with Amazon, just be prepared to produce when/if asked.

Do you have an active listing for your ASIN?
You completed the registration without any problem?

Greetings @Seller_VcdIkIoExpaNZ,
The product may not yet been identified as subject to the policy, however you should be ready to complete compliance requests as they occur. Often the testing is requested right away, but there may be exceptions. Generally reviews are about 15 business days or so but sometimes can take longer. At this time there isn't a proactive path that I'm currently aware of, but if you provide your most recent Seller Support Case on this issue I can escalate and see what options I can provide. Thank you for your understanding.

Be aware of the new Amazon testing requirements that went into effect in April 2024. You will be notified via the Manage Your Compliance dashboard when Amazon will request that you submit your product for testing via UL, Eurofins or NSF International. No action is needed until the request appears in MYC. But UL, Eurofins and NSF International have information on their websites about the Amazon requirements, and it's good to study up in advance on what will be required of you.
