inventory stuck in reserved status for over 8 months

I have an item and inventory has been stuck in reserved status since April. I have contacted Amazon seller support and the problem has still not been fixed. I jsut get random emails saying we are working on resolving the issue while over 40 units have been stuck in reserved status since April.
