Insane FBA fees for apparel products due to dimensional weight and measurement method

Hi,

Since amazon has changed the Large standard-size tier for apparel to use Dimensional Weight, all of our FBA fees, storage fees and everything have almost doubled! It's crazy. The majority of our items are thin and due to a little bit of air in the poly bag and due to the way amazon measures the items, they get measured at a completely incorrect height and dimension and this is not even considering how amazon workers re-pack the products for returns using a big so big with excess space and air inside increasing the size by sometimes 3 times the amount it originally was. What are we supposed to do about this, we have thousands of SKUs and it does not make sense that amazon is using dimensional weight for small apparel products in poly bags when its the air which for us and im sure most other sellers is causing the product to go from small standard-size to large standard-size. This doesnt make sense as when it comes to packing to ship to the customer, the air would be removed and would fit in the same bag/envelope and would not incur any extra shipping cost yet amazon is charging us 2x as much for most off our products.

Amazon really needs to address this urgently. We are lost for words and do not know what to do. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and frustration and does anyone have any solutions? I feel like this is a major error by Amazon and they did not consider the implications of this for apparel products.
