Urgent Concern Regarding Increased Fixed Closing Fees for Self Ship Orders
I am writing to express our deep concern regarding the recent changes in the fee structure, specifically the significant increase in Fixed Closing Fees for Self Ship orders.
As sellers of fresh flowers, Self Ship is the only viable fulfillment option due to the perishable nature of our products. Unfortunately, under the new structure, while Referral Fees have been marked as 0%, the Fixed Closing Fee has silently increased from ₹7 to ₹45 per order. As a result, for a ₹249 product, our total charges have gone up from ₹31 to ₹53—despite the promise of lower fees.
This change is not only misleading but also unsustainable for small businesses like ours. We already bear the shipping and operational costs from our end, and this sudden increase has made it financially unfeasible to continue selling on the platform.
We respectfully request Amazon to reconsider this change, at least for sellers in categories like ours that rely solely on Self Ship. If this fee structure remains unchanged, we will be left with no option but to discontinue our seller account, as we cannot afford to operate at a loss.We hope you understand our situation and take necessary action at the earliest.

Hi Team,
Due to increase in Amazon Fee for Self Ship i am incurring huge loss, not able to sell product priced below Rs 200 category due to higher amazon closing fee of rs 45 + other costs near about rs 8 total charges per product is rs 53.
If any product i am listing at rs 115 (including delivery) i need to give 53 as Amazon fee, Amazon is charging 50% as on total price.
Earlier closing fee was rs 7 new is rs 45.
Now Amazon is saying no referral fee but one side amazon remove referral fee and on another side they increased closing fee which in total is more than earlier fees.
Hope to receive a solution for this
