Approval to Sell Donated Books

How do I get approval to sell donated books? I don't have an invoice, receipt, contract or delivery order because these are donations. I have provided our business license and 501C3 non-profit certification, with no luck. I've gone back and forth various times with Amazon and they are not getting it. Before 2024, we sold donated books on Amazon for years. Has anyone had any luck or have a contact? Case ID 18024323241.

I believe you can sell under the used category-but I am not a book seller. Maybe someone else can chime in that sells books.

I assume you are selling donated books as used.

Most books may be sold used. Some may not be sold by anyone. Some may only be sold with the approval methods set out for New books -- which is not possible with used -- there will be no invoice, etc.

If you are being blocked with every book you try, then something is probably amiss with your account.

Check the Account Health. Check also with the other platforms you have even though you do not intend to use them -- there may be a problem affecting your dot com account.

Sell on eBay and have fewer hassles, lower fees, AND better protection against con artists and thieves than you do here.

Using UIEE by any chance ? If your uploads are simply failing, that may account for it.

Thanks for posting your inquiry. As your fellow Sellers have stated, it is suggested to check your Account Health, trying to list as used books, and attempting to list individual items directly. In general there are guidelines for selling books that are advised in the Listings Lounge: The Book Seller’s Best Practices post written by my colleague which I recommend checking out.
