Multiple Selling Accounts on Amazon
Just got this notice today and I do not know what this means, I have been selling at Amazon for many years and I have not opened any new accounts with them. I did open recently a Europe selling accounts through this same account perhaps they are seeing this as multiple accounts?

Hi @Seller_1eqBCdwKhlw1P,
Thank you for your post. I understand you have received word about a related accounts issue.
In this scenario, we have found shared information between you and the account to which you are linked. This does not mean that you necessarily own the other account, but rather there is a link between the two of them. The other account has been deactivated, and due to the shared information between the two accounts, your account is now at risk of deactivation.
This very well could be why you are receiving this message. In the performance notification, you would have received information about the account to which you are related. If the name of the related account is the same as the name of your account (or something very similar), it is most likely due to the creation of the European marketplaces. If this is your scenario, it is because you have opted for recent exapansion to the global registration (the creation of the EU marketplaces). This allows sellers to create selling accounts in multiple Amazon stores worldwide through one registration application.
These accounts are linked together and use a single sign-on in Seller Central so that you can log into the accounts with a single email address and password. Since you have one set of login credentials, you may believe you have only one account, but that is not always the case if you registered in more than one region. Region examples would be the North American region containing the US, Canada, and Mexican marketplaces whereas the European regions would include the UK, France, and Germany marketplaces.
To resolve your issue, you will want to login to each marketplace from the drop down in seller central and navigate to the performance notifications to see any outstanding issues. You can find the marketplace specific issue from the performance notifications within that marketplace. If you have any questions regarding the reinstatement of the affected marketplace, please create a new thread from that marketplace so that we can better assist you and avoid confusion.
Once the affected marketplace has been reinstated, this should remove the risk of deactivation of your NA marketplaces.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy
