We cannot accept this invoice because we are unable to verify the supplier

I sent invoices for verification 5 times, 5 times my invoices were not accepted. My goods are from another country, invoices comply with the rules of the issuing country.

>>You have not sent us sufficient information that we previously requested from you. For privacy reasons, we do not provide details about our investigation methods.<<

How can I send what is needed if I am not told what is required of me?

I understand you have questions regarding the documentation you have submitted.

As your supplier is unable to be verified, this causes concerns for the authenticity of your product. Without the ability to trace the supply chain back to an authorized supplier via sourcing documentation, there is further question of the authenticityof said product.

Amazon holds product authenticity in high regard and sees this as intellectual property. As such, all sellers are expected to follow local, state, and federal laws alongside the applicable Amazon policies. All of this information combined translates to emphasize the importance of sourcing from an authorized supplier and maintaining proper authorization and documentation for such.

Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:

Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured

These documents:

  • Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
  • Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
  • Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
  • Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
  • You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.

I do suggest comparing your document to the above requirements and ensure each of these requirements has been met. Without even one of these requirements, we are unable to guarantee that this information will be verified successfully.

Alternatively, are you authorized to sell the products by the brand in question? This can be proven by providing a letter of authorization, which typically includes certain key phrases.

  • 'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property
  • 'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.
  • ‘Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted
  • ‘Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)
  • ‘Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)

If you would like, please provide further insight into the specific violation you are addressing and any relevant information such as case IDs or a performance notification. This will enable the Forums community, moderating team, and myself to assist you to the best of our ability.

All the best,

Stevie
