I'm facing significant issues with the delivery charges on Amazon's Easy Ship program. The national delivery fees are exceptionally high, far exceeding market rates. This situation makes it impossible to set competitive prices due to the combined impact of delivery charges and Amazon's commissions. As a result, our order volumes are suffering.
I propose that Amazon aligns the Easy Ship fees with market rates and reduces commission charges. This adjustment would allow us to offer competitive prices, leading to higher sales and, consequently, more commission for Amazon as well.
I'm particularly puzzled by how some sellers manage to offer products under ₹100 with free delivery. Despite having lightweight products, I struggle to price anything below ₹199 after factoring in all the costs. Nowadays, consumers are highly sensitive to additional delivery charges and prefer products with free delivery. Including delivery charges in the product price and showing a free delivery badge significantly boosts sales.
If any fellow sellers have strategies to reduce Easy Ship costs without resorting to self-ship (which is challenging and less visible), please share your insights. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
