Counterfeit Goods

I don't think I had any buyer complain at all but Amazon suspended me and ultimately said I had counterfeit goods. This is not possible and I submitted a lot of pictures and receipts, bank, identity and tons of other documents.

I have a very old account and I worked hard to get ungated in things. If amazon wrongly claimed this - how do I get my account back?

Are there lawyers or services that can help me? any luck with that anyone? I feel like I have no way to actually talk to anyone that is involved with my case and just keep getting the same requests over and over.

There doesn't have to be a customer complaint.

You provided receipts? You need invoices from a valid supplier, not a receipt.

What were you selling?

Where were you sourcing your inventory?

Do you have permission FROM THE BRAND to sell their products on Amazon?

True, you're unlikely to get permission to sell a big brand if you are a small seller. But that's the way business works.

So you answered the question about whether or not you have permission. What are you selling? And where are you sourcing it? Those could be problems even with brands that don't require permission to sell on Amazon.

No, not a "larger business". Probably smaller than you. But rules are rules, regardless of your size.

With RA, not only do you not have authorization, but even if it's a brand that doesn't require brand permission, you don't have a valid supply chain to prove authenticity. RA was common years ago, but is now very risky and mostly a thing of the past.

If you got hit with a section 3 for counterfeit goods, do what they asked of you in the section that says, What documents are required? Do your web interview and provide your proof all of in that section, receipts, bank statement. etc. If you didn't have counterfeit goods, you have your receipts to back it up with your bank statement if purchased your credit card in file. Don't listen the naysayers here trying to scare with RA purchases that’s false, if it’s from a legitimate retail store for example: Nike then your receipt is your proof. It happened to me; I didn't sell any counterfeit goods but I got hit with a warning. I had my proof of purchases via Retail Store, as the agent asking many questions in regards to the product in question. But after I did that web interview, was told by the agent to wait 5 days for them to make a decision. I was selling again after they made their decision and emailed their decision via that my account was not deactivated. If you are not guilty of selling counterfeit goods, then back your claim to the false accusation with your proof, that is all amazon is looking for. If after 5 days nothing happens then call Account Health about your case.

To better understand why Amazon is not accepting your documents, please answer the following questions:

  1. Are you sourcing from a verifiable supplier?
  2. Do the invoices reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days?
  3. Do the invoices demonstrate your product’s full supply chain?
  4. Do the invoices include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer?

Please visit the page Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements for more information.

Thank you for contacting us! The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

I wish you all the best,
