Help!!!!Trying To Pay Amazon Balance

I have tried to pay my amazon balance several times since October 2024. I have contacted Chase bank and authorize payment, again try to resubmit payment unsuccessfully. Again, on Dec 2024, I tried to submit the payment, contacted Chase bank and authorized payment. Resubmit payment but credit card is showing as invalid on amazon, again called the bank, there is enough funds, they told me to contact amazon, but I cannot create a case to pay because my account is inactive due lack of a valid payment method. My balance keeps growing since october. I honestly want to pay and close the account afterwards. Please Need Help from Customer Support!

Why do you need to authorize payment? Doesn't sound like a credit card, are you trying to use a debit card?
