{moderator Edit inappropriate language} Amazon customer care refunding on COD orders that are reported not delivered

The orders 402-4533451-8251547 & 402-8986374-4769917 were "Cash on Delivery" orders, same customer same address 1 month gap. The customer called and stated the " Product is not received "and took REFUND for the Money he did not pay. I do not understand, Amazon got the money from "Non-Customer" and refunded it to a Customer "who never paid". IS AMAZON CUSTOMER CARE {moderator Edit inappropriate language}OR WHAT??? To add to pain seller support has just refund Rs 90 for a Rs 445 product. For the second order also they are saying we will do the same. Amazon is a loss making platform riddled by its own policies and useless support system .

The same thing happened with me recently what am i supposed to do because it shows product was delivered to customer and he simply refunded saying product not recieved. I dont know if i will get the product back or not what am i supposed to do?

I think you misunderstood how the cod refund works. I'll explain you, correct me if I'm wrong. (I'm also a seller fyi)

1. After you dispatch a cod order that order amount will be added to your "Total balance" even amazon did not yet delivered and received the money. Now you need to understand this point in brief that "you got money in your amazon account for the COD order that is not yet delivered".

2. When the product is not delivered and you get the mail of "Refund Initiated" you feel that your own money is given to the customer. But logically the reserve money is only refunded.

3. And your product will return to you in case lost or not returned to you, you will get reimbursement in 50 days from return initiated, but you need to track the returning order regularly.

WHAT EVER THE ORDER PAYMENT METHOD IS WEATHER PREPAID OR COD, THE MONEY IS ADDED TO YOUR RESERVE (I.E TOTAL AMOUNT IN YOUR HOME PAGE) AS SOON AS YOU HANDOVER YOUR PACKAGE TO THE COURIER PARTNER AND HE SCANS THE CODE. WHAT EVER THE REFUND IS DONE IS TAKEN FROM THAT RESERVE AMOUNT ONLY.

if You ever feel useless just thinking about there are people getting paid for no service at Amazon seller support

amazon customer care refunded a customer after 14days of delivery which is out of policy.The actual return time is 7days from the date of delivery then how could they return it after 14days.

When I asked the same thing to seller portal they do not have any answer and they say this happens once in a blue moon. After I receive the product back return I see that it is used.

Dear sellers this can happen with you also,amazon customer care is doing anything for the sake of there business they do not worry about the seller.

They might even return the products after 2months of delivery and say that this happens once in a blue moon.Please be aware of this fraud
