How does Amazon verify authenticity of your supplier?
I recently had another seller file inauthenticity claims on 3 of my products and I tried to appeal the claims but was unsuccessful. I sent them invoices with all the requirements met but they were unable to verify my supplier. What criteria does your supplier need to meet to pass an appeal?

The supplier has to have permission to sell to 3rd party sellers on market places. Are you selling a branded product, if so, you need explicit authorization from the brand.

Hi there @Seller_jUk5P2hOTZKjp,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums! I appreciate your patience as the moderating team and I work to address your post.
In order to verify from where you purchased your supply, you will need to provide valid sourcing documentation. These will typically be copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured. These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
- Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
- You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
In some cases, you will need the expressed authorization to sell the products. (Thank you @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9for providing this information already!)
This could be the reason as to why the authenticity of your items has been questioned. Providing the documentation previously mentioned will enable Amazon to further trace the supply chain to ensure you are still providing authentic items.
How did you find this supplier? Were they authorized to sell the products? Did you do any research on your supplier prior to making the stock purchase?
