Concern Regarding Ultra-Low Pricing by Competing Sellers
Hello Amazon Seller Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing because I’ve noticed that several sellers have been offering the same Scotch-Brite scrubber combo at ₹30–₹32—far below our own break-even price. Here’s our cost breakdown for a single unit:
Purchase cost: ₹10
Delivery fee (FBA or shipping): ₹75
Referral commission (sub-₹300 price band): ₹6
Total cost per unit: ₹91
Minimum viable selling price (to avoid loss): ~₹150
At ₹30–₹32, these sellers must be operating at a significant loss or receiving subsidized support. This undercuts fair competition and captures nearly all buyer traffic, leaving responsible sellers like us unable to compete despite having efficient sourcing.
Could you please clarify:
Why are these ultra-low prices permitted on the platform?
What measures does Amazon have in place to ensure sellers maintain sustainable pricing?
Can you review these listings to confirm they comply with Amazon’s pricing policies?
Understanding your policies here will help ensure a level playing field for all sellers. I appreciate your prompt guidance on this matter.
Thank you for your assistance.

You missed the point that the listing is for min qty of 2 and price is Rs. 23/-. The launch price for this specific product is Rs. 25/-
Secondly, it is sold by Clicktech Retail, which is a front of Amazon itself.
Simply put, you cannot compete with Amazon.
My advise don't waste your time on this.

the most important thing u missed. THE PRODUCT ITSELF.
WHO ON EARTH SEEN a BROWN Scotch BRite ?
THAT particular product is just raw garbage.
THEy are just clearing the warehouse.
THere are some products which I believe to be sold by company direct.
I dont believe u r a company.
Moreover THESE Type of products are one of the real reason to use AMAZON ecommerce platform.

its sold by sellers backed by amazon, they are funded by amazon. they can sell at loss just to keep the catalog variety, because amazon wants all products to be available on its platform even if it has to sell a few products at loss it doesnt matter
