Late Dispatch Rate is the percentage of orders that you dispatched after the "Ship by Date" of the orders. This percentage will gradually decrease over the period (1 month as this parameter is calculated for 30 days) as you dispatch your future orders on time. Ideally, it should be maintained well below 4% (some cases state it should be maintained below 2%). For an average seller on Amazon, with 4-5 orders per day, even if you miss one order, this percentage can become higher than 2%, so it is important to dispatch it on or before the "Ship By Date".
