FBA Removal Order Scam – $2,500 Inventory Missing, Fake Tracking IDs, No Resolution in 7+ Weeks

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this to highlight an extremely serious issue we’ve been facing with Amazon FBA and the complete failure of Seller Support in resolving it.

🧾 Issue Summary

We created a removal order for our FBA inventory (worth ~$2,500) on 6th April 2025. The carrier pickup was scheduled, but nothing was ever handed over or dispatched. Shockingly, multiple fake tracking IDs were generated by Amazon, yet no parcel was packed or shipped.

📅 Timeline of Events

6th April: Removal order placed

29th April: Case created with Amazon (Case ID: 11065499982)

Since then: No meaningful update. Only generic responses.

12th June: Gave 48-hour deadline to resolve—still nothing. Now exploring legal options.

⚠️ Business Impact

Inventory worth $2,500 gone

Compensation due for lost sales, delayed timelines, and operational disruption

We’ve completely lost faith in Amazon’s internal process and are now planning a full exit from the platform

❌ Support Experience

Case bounced between random seller support agents

No investigator assigned

No SLA, no accountability, no resolution

Left Amazon sales earlier due to past experience, it’s still the same pattern of internal fraud and inaction

📣 Message to Fellow Sellers

If you're dealing in high-value or branded items, AVOID FBA.

Do self-ship only — Amazon’s fulfillment centers cannot be trusted with expensive goods.

In fact, based on our experience, we strongly advise against dealing with Amazon at all — there are far better alternatives today that value sellers and operate with transparency.

If others have faced similar issues or found effective escalation routes, please share.

At this point, we're no longer engaging with Seller Support — their role is reduced to copy-paste responses and empty promises. We're now pursuing legal and formal routes to recover our losses and hold Amazon accountable.

Thanks for reading. Hope this post helps others stay cautious.

its the same for me , i created a removal order after long time of no delivery, i decided to go to delivery partners office location and collect it myself but still they only had partial shipment and i did not get all of the removal units.

its as you mentioned amazon support keeps giving generic responses

"We are reviewing your query in partnership with the concerned departments for the reimbursement of the missing units received in the removal order. "

and don't give any responses at all, pathetic behavior from amazon as a whole.
