Fire at local UPS Hub destroyed our FBA Shipments - please help reimburse!
Hi,
Our packages that we sent to FBA were damaged by the fire at the carrier facility (UPS) on June 28, 2023 that destroyed trailer-loads of products (facility address 710 Vassar Ave Lakewood, NJ 08701) including multiple shipments of ours.
Amazon isn't allowing us to file reimbursement claims until 180 days have passed - but obviously the products will never arrive at FBA due to being damaged. (UPS already registered the shipments as damaged).
@Dominic_Amazon I see that you have been terrific in assisting other sellers like@Seller_8xPb0zS1apmF2. Can you please help us as well?

I have been successful with receiving payments directly from UPS on lost packages that I have sent using Amazons account on buy shipping. They have paid me for the lost merchandise but not for the shipping charges.

Greetings @Seller_y7OrWVGz7zNSh,
I see you're following up with UPS to see if they can assist with this, do you have any Amazon Seller Support cases related to this? The 180 days you referenced may be standard practice in instances like this, but I'd like to review the details to see if there's anything I can do to assist internally. Please let me know!
