Create new ASIN and migrate reviews from old ASIN

Hi there!

I have an ASIN for a meditation cushion for 2 years. The corresponding EAN number is demonstrably mine.

The problem is that the EAN number was illegally (!) used for an automobile part on Amazon before I bought the number from GS1.

Of course, I communicated with Amazon support countless times. However, the automobiles category cannot be changed afterwards and the error messages keep coming also, every time I want to change anything like price or text etc.

Now I want to set up a new ASIN with a new EAN to solve the problem, but I need to take my customer reviews with me to this new ASIN.

How can I do that?

Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers

No, if a new ASIN, then reviews start at 0.

If you listed the original ASIN and you are the brand holder, you should ask Catalogue Team to change if you cannot do that.

Take a photo of all sides of the packaging, incluing the EAN barcode as proof to Amazon, attach as proof (real life they like, so not studio quality, in a room so they can see you have the item).

Then a lot of phone calls to SS nagging. Wastinh hours of time, if it is worth it.

(Screenshot of brand holder and item info on GS1 may assist as well).
