Missing delivery dates, resulting in customer full refunds

Hello I'm trying to see if anyone else is experiencing this where Amazon's FBA is shipping out products late and they're arrive sometimes 5 days after the prime delivery date. And then my customers complain, and Amazon gives them a full refund. For the entire thing. So basically they're just giving away my product, my money, and not doing their part on the fulfillment. How is this allowed? This has happened so many times, and CS keeps saying that this is in terms that it's allowed. They can give away our stuff for free, because their drivers are delivering 5 days late?
