Expiration complaint but it's a manufacturing date

I have received a product expiration date complaint from a customer but this date is the manufacturers date as this is a beauty product not food the expiration is once opened, even got a call off Amazon and the man confirmed he knew this was a mistake but couldn’t do anything, I have sent images an invoice and correspondence from the manufacturer confirming this and yet Amazon is saying this is not enough information there is no more information I can provide any help on this seems ridiculous 1 person is mistaken and the listing is taken down .
