Error code 5665 or 8572 brand or generic
I'm stuck I cannot list anything.
Amazon have signed my brand off Caravanparts4u
However if I try and list with the brand I get error 5665
Ean is purchased through a trusted seller of gs1 bar codes of which I've had no issues with before
If I try and say there is no ean and click none box I get red errors up and can go no further
If I go generic and use same unused bar code ean number I get code 8572
Aparently this is a big issue. I've tried loads of different things in manufacturer etc to be availi even applied to list without ean and was approved but still no luck
Seller support are worst than useless what am I paying £30 a month for
Is there a simple way to post an item in Automotive that does or doesn't have an ean number or is this now impossible.
Seller support just send me in a loop so guessing it's AI

You need to buy the barcodes directly from gs1 I believe then if there are issues with them go back to them. Amazon will look up the barcodes on the gs1 database to make sure they are registered to you

If the EAN number is new, just purchased from 1GS, then you have to write to the support service and wait 3-6 working days for the information to be updated on Amazon.

Similar issue here. Any listings from before Brand Registry seem to be now locked with 8572.
Could always email managingdirector@amazon.co.uk if you are just not getting anywhere with SS
