Listing Problems - Cases opened and resolved by Amazon, but not solving issues

Case number: ID 15274978321

Hey guys. Has anyone out there experienced these issues? I created a listing and in a total rookie move, after watching You Tube videos that said to jazz up your listing with HTML tags, I did that. The HTML tags were processed and added (bold, italics, stars as bullet points). Later I was told to edit my listing as they did not comply with the policy. They also said my Product Description was too long, I needed to fix bullet points, etc. Rookie mistakes that I made and learned from.

So then I'd attempt to Edit my listing, title, bullet points, and product description, all complying with standards, but the edits would never publish and go through. I then lost the Prime badge on my listing, then it would randomly come back, then the Prime badge would not appear on the mobile app. All of this was occurring with an Active listing (not search suppressed) and Amazon has my products in the warehouse in good standing. But my listing refused to update. I have called Amazon support, they keep looking into it, then closing my case, but never resolving it.

When I called yesterday, the Amazon agent said my listing seemingly lost it's category or browse node? How??? When I created my listing, it was assigned a Product Type of: Product type: WALLET/Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry/Men/Accessories/Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers/Wallets. Then Amazon lost my setting?

The Amazon rep. said she could not figure out what is going on, so she said she would fix the issues on their end and force the updates and to give it 24 hours. Today, my listing is now showing as Detail Page Removed. So I called again and tried to escalate. The case is back open, but I have had to re-open it 5x since Amazon keeps resolving it as "Answered".

I am at wits end. My listing needed updates, I tried to make them and Amazon confirmed they were now good, but they could not figure out why the listing would not actually update and again, they have no idea why my Product type was edited and removed. So that made it basically unsearchable for anyone that did not have my ASIN. Amazon was trying to fix it all but cannot seem to figure this out. Each Amazon rep. has to start over. No one is accountable at Amazon to fix and own the issues they agree are there that they cannot figure out.

Btw: stop watching the BS of You Tube. As example HTML is no longer allowed LONG time ago. You better watch the source: the videos in Seller University in your main dashboard in seller central.

Hey there @Seller_E5SaGxCYzjPT3- thanks for detailing this situation for us.

I wanted to chime in to ask if you have attempted to update this listing through an inventory file as of yet, or only manually through Seller Central? I ask as sometimes updates from inventory files can help data flow through the Amazon ecosystem more smoothly. If you haven't tried that method yet, please do!

If you have, then continuing to work with support through your listed case ID will be your best path forward.

Thanks,

Danny

As a new seller you have to learn that Amazon is a self service platform and to handle like a big machine. YOU have to set the settings and to push the correct buttons to make it work correctly. Nobody from Amazon will go look at your listing to say you what is wrong. If you don't have too many ratings, take a new UPC from GS1 and create a new listing by doing it correctly from the beginning, according to the rules and style guides. You see now that it's incredibly risky to change a minor thing in a listing. It can go without problems or it can mess up your listing.

Btw: stop watching the BS of You Tube. As example HTML is no longer allowed LONG time ago. You better watch the source: the videos in Seller University in your main dashboard in seller central.
