What's Engage with Amazon? I like to think of it as a section of the forums where we can connect and collaborate together as a community. Everyone is welcome to chime into the discussion and share their unique perspectives. There's really no pressure here, just a fun way to engage with each other. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

We support our local community , but we stay low key and don't look for recognition.
Its always good to help whenever you can.

We do. There is a local organization which is always trying to raise money. I see them around town all the time, despite most people I know donating, it never seems to be enough for their fundraising goals. I see the people working for the organization lacking funding for training or resources needed for them to make good use on everyone's donations. Most of them look to have good intentions but as a result of constantly giving them money, they always seem to fall short. Quite frankly people are beginning to get tired of giving this community non profit money but its like they are holding us hostage claiming if we don't "pay taxes" we could be fined or jailed

We donate a portion of our profits every year to a local non-profit. Last year it was a missing persons advocacy group that helps families of the missing. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to help these organizers and support their goals.

I love giving back to my community. Through out the year I check my inventory for slow moving items that can be used by someone else. Depending what the items are available, personal care, clothing, books, or toys. I give to the correct location.
I donate most items to the women's shelter in my community. There are always families who are in need. Last year I did not get done as much as I like to, so I donated full dinners to the women and children at the shelter. I just got the head count from the director and brought it in. Each family got to have their own meal with their family. That was a wonderful feeling.

We donate a percentage of order totals to a local animal rescue. We are proud to be certified cruelty free, and we support our local rescue as well as national and global animal welfare charities.

I can't give back to my community as with over 100,000 in sales I only have $ 1.000 in bank account as all the rest has been gobbled back up by amazon which is a community so ya I guess the Amazon community did benefit !

We give back by donating funds every year to help, build water wells (We aim for 1-2 each year) in poor cities all over the World… Its a Beautiful thing when they send me videos of the wells they built with the children and families getting water… Such a Lovely feeling…its “priceless to see the children & people happy”.
I keep it low key and do not discuss but to see those people rejoice in getting water… a basic need..somethings we take for granted… That I know I can take with Me when I pass… The Goodness and Feeling Accomplished that I was able to help someone in need.. just paying it Forward! ❤️🙏🏻
