Generic Keyword Field Length

Hello team Amazon,

I believe I heard at Accelerate that the new field length for Generic Keywords was being lowered to 205 Bytes? not characters.

But I see everywhere, including editing the field in Seller Central that it is 500 characters ( and a specific message that pops up when I hit 501 ).

Can you please clarify which way to go?

Moreover, I now see on some listings 5 possible fields for Generic Keywords.

Is this new? Is this Global - meaning every category? Or is this a bug?

I cannot imagine that Amazon would offer 500 characters X 5 = 2500 characters for keywords.

What could I possibly add that requires that many keywords (legit keywords)?

Currently, the length limit for generic keywords is 249 Bytes, as shown in the Keyword attributes explained page. I would recommend continuing to monitor that page for any changes in the future.
